Introducing Dream Hannah, the AI Reconciliation Agent That Stops Property Managers and Insurers From Losing Money to Errors and Fraud
Dream Payments and Brisc AI have partnered to launch Dream Hannah, an Agentic Finance Analyst, that automates reconciliation across inbound and outbound payments to help property managers and insurers detect errors and catch fraud in real time.
TORONTO, August 9, 2026. In the insurance and property management industries, money moves fast and its explanation does not. Rent lands with no clear lease to apply it to, a vendor is paid against quietly changed banking details, a deposit refund goes out twice. A premium arrives with no clear policy to match it to, a broker deducts more commission than the binder allowed, a claim is paid twice. Each transaction completes cleanly, but the proof of what it meant scatters across agents, brokers, bordereaux, bank files, and software platforms that rarely agree.
Dream Payments today introduced Dream Hannah, an AI reconciliation agent for the property management and insurance industries, made available in partnership with Brisc AI.
Money can now move in real time, to collect rent and premium and to pay vendors and claims. Proving that the right amounts reached the right parties is another matter, and at best it takes weeks. At worst, the business under-collects, sends the wrong amounts out, pays the same beneficiary twice, or routes money to the wrong party entirely or to a fraudster who quietly changed the banking details on an invoice, and by then it is gone. Closing that gap between money and proof is what Dream Hannah is built to do.
Dream Hannah reviews and reconciles every payment executed across the business every day. She automatically identifies payments that match and escalates those that are missing or are ambiguous, with her reasoning attached. With her findings, finance teams can automatically see what payments across which systems need to be investigated and resolved, while there is still time to act.
Money Moved, Money Matched
In property management, United States renters alone pay more than half a trillion dollars in rent a year, and every rent dollar must agree across the resident's payment, the property management software platform, the trust account, the owner's ledger, and the bank statement. A diverted deposit or a vendor paid to the wrong account hides in the unmatched cash and is discovered at the following month-end close, or at a trust audit, long after the money is gone.
Insurance moves even more money. It is one of the largest payment industries on earth: global premiums alone run to more than $7.7 trillion a year, and with claims, refunds, commissions, and vendor payments the total is far larger. Nearly all of it is reconciled by hand by teams of finance personnel at month-end, across policy and claims systems, payment platforms, and bank accounts that were not designed to speak to one another. Much of that money lands without a clear home on the day it arrives, and audits can only ever sample a small slice of the book. Errors surface weeks after the money moved.
The cost is money that leaves and does not come back. Three in four organizations reported an attempted or actual payments fraud attack in 2025, and reported losses to business email compromise alone exceeded $3 billion. Once a payment is out the door it is difficult, often impossible, to recover; a duplicate that goes out is, in practice, gone.
Fraud lives in that same gap. The attacks that matter are engineered to pass the gate: a vendor's banking details changed on an emailed invoice, a claim paid to an account that was quietly altered, each one clearing like any other payment. Reconciliation is the only control that examines every transaction after the money has actually moved, which makes it the last and most complete layer of fraud detection.
The timing deepens the damage. A transaction can be 45 days old by the time it surfaces at the following close, long past the point where it could have been stopped. Found that late it is a matter of record; found the day it happens it is an alert that can trigger action and recovery.
Dream knows this speed gap firsthand, because Dream helped create it. Dream was the first insurance payments network in the United States to deliver claims in real time in 2021, and today a claim can reach a policyholder in under 30 seconds. The money now moves at the speed of light, but reconciliation is still manual and slow. That same payment, cleared in seconds, can still take more than 45 days to reconcile at the following close, and every problem described here lives in that gap. Dream built the rails that made claims instant; reconciliation was the one part that never caught up, until now.
From monthly reconstruction to automated proof
Dream Hannah surfaces what needs attention each day rather than explaining what happened after the period closed, pairing deterministic matching for the clear cases with AI analysis for the ambiguous ones and tying each bank transaction to the remittance, bordereau, policy, claim, or approval that explains it.
High-confidence matches clear automatically. What requires a person arrives with its context, its reasoning, and a traceable evidence chain from cash to approver, so audit moves from sampling toward certainty. Because reconciliation now scales through configuration rather than headcount, a new program no longer waits on a hiring plan to launch.
Why Dream and Brisc Have Earned the Right to Power Agentic Reconciliation
Dream powers payment networks for insurance carriers, property managers, and businesses across North America. That position is rare: most technology sits on one side of the flow or in one country, while Dream sees both the dollar a property manager or insurer expects and the one that actually arrives.
So Dream partnered with Brisc AI, the purpose-built agentic platform for reconciliation, and is making it available across Dream's ecosystem of property managers, insurance carriers, TPAs, MGAs, and software platform partners. Brisc's engine matches cash across software platforms, bank feeds, remittances, and bordereaux with an auditable trail behind every decision. And rather than letting the difficult transactions wait for month-end, Brisc brings the exceptions forward in real time — each one ranked, explained, and backed by evidence — so the items that carry the risk get human eyes the day they appear.
“Money can move in seconds and then spend 45 days waiting for an explanation, and that is backwards. Every dollar should prove where it came from, where it went, and why, while action is still possible, not after the close has turned an exception or a fraud event into a loss.”
Brent Ho-Young, CEO and Co-Founder of Dream Payments
“Rent and premium fail the same way: the money arrives and the story doesn't. The deposit that never landed, the owner paid twice, the commission taken twice, the claim that almost matches the bank. Brisc was built to reason through that remainder, and Dream sees both sides of the payment, so together we can make the proof arrive with the money.”
Sanjay Malhotra, CEO of Brisc AI
